One day while holding space, I got a feeling that one of my business associate, Martin, should be contacted. Immediately, I called Martin and he said he was unwell and had come to visit a doctor. I kept the call. And life continued.
Fortnight later, I met martin for some documentation work, during which Martin himself expressed the challenges and the seeming situations he was going through for last 7 months post his Father’s demise. It felt as though the meet was destined just for him to share. I said Martin that the situation he was into, could be easily resolved. I shared a lot of similar instances faced by other clients, which were transformed with 100% precision and accuracy. Martin, in a jiffy, said he would desire to experience the same. It looked like he was ready, and so the space reached him.
The same evening Martin visited my office and we started the session. Martin was highly stressed due to the cold behavior he was receiving from his mother and brother after his Father’s death in January 2025. They were not talking to him and were speaking ill about him to other family members. This made his uncles and cousins question him, and eventually Martin found himself isolated from his family circle. He started being in home, doing nothing for months. He lost interest in meeting friends and colleagues as his mind was totally occupied with the rejection received from his mother and brother. He visited his hometown for some work, but for first time, hadn’t been to his own home to meet his mother. This made him more upset & his health took a toll.
We transformed all these situations, one by one. By now, Martin had entered into a comfort space.
Tears were in his eyes. He said he was feeling sad that his mother was behaving in such way with him. At the same time, he was scared of thinking about it, as he feared of breaking down again. And wondered if he would be able to gather himself back.
I asked Martin if he was comfortable to work with these perceptions. And he responded affirmative. We transformed these situations. And now Martin said he was feeling very lonely.
Hidden beneath the situation was deep seated loneliness. Once this situation was transformed, Martin expressed that he hadn’t helped his wife in household chores and its been months, he played and had fun with his son. His tone towards them was loud and harsh.
We transformed these situation as well, and now Martin felt lighter and better.
My heart was brimming with gratitude seeing the smile and relief on his face.
The next morning Martin messaged me. He informed that he made bed tea for his wife, had a wonderful 2 hours conversation with his friend Peter, which he was avoiding since all these months. He also played with his son the very evening.
Is this the end of the story.??
Surprise came up the next day in the evening when Martin’s phone rang and it was his mother’s call. After many months, she called him and spoke to him.
That’s it ?
Nope. The story continues.
Martin’s mother asked him to book ticket for her journey to his city. She came the very next day to his home. And stayed for 4 days with him.
Are we done here ??
Nooooppeeee…
Martin’s brother called him up. He said he was looking forward to visit Martin’s home and celebrate the Dussehra festival together.
All Martin had was tears of joy.
And all I have while penning this down is heart filled of gratitude.
